Fort of Dresden

The probably oldest part of the city lies beneath the “Brühlsche” Terrace. Here you'll find a 400 year old brick gate, the last original city entrance gate of Dresden with conserved guard rooms. Do not miss out on visiting the medieval defence construction, the old city bridge and the small bastion and famous casemates while there.

Entrance to the fort: Georg- Treu- Platz, between Albertinum and the Academy of Arts
