Dresden Marathon

An annual sports event has become very popular in Dresden, taking place on the last but one Sunday of October. The event managers are estimating somewhat 8.000 participants from which 1.800 will be running, trying to achieve the position for one of the TOP 15 running events in Germany. Through an attractive run way route, many bands and cheerleaders and last but not least the enthusiastic crowd the Dresden- Marathon has become one of the nation's most loved running events.
