The Hotel opened its doors in 1995 and is part of the world famous ensemble of the surrounding buildings such as the Frauenkirche, Residenzschloss, the Semperopera and the Zwinger. The royal Tachenbergpalais was built 1709 under August the Strong (August der Starke) and has become a monument.
