Wachbergschänke - tavern

In the middle of the greens, high above the river Elbe, on the slope lies and idyllic guesthouse. It is designed in a Swiss style and built to serve an extravagant tavern. From the viewer's platform in the back of the house one has a view reaching far over the countryside.
A look in the menu reveals good traditional home style cooking yet also including seasonal and extravagant dishes. Planning a party one can rent the “Rittersaal”, nights'hall, or the “Felsengrotte”, stone grotto, with an open fireplace
